The Celtics lose again 105-91 in Boston to the Wizards

Blogged under Front Page,Game Recaps by Nothing but Net on Monday 29 January 2007 at 10:54 am

The Celtics got outscored 56-41 in the second half and that did them in last night. The Celtics only shot 39% from the floor as a team and were outrebounded 51-38 by the Wizards and those factors helped do them in again!  Delonte West had a great game with 22 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals. Ryan Gomes was solid around the basket with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Gerald Green pitched in with 14 points and 3 rebounds.

The Celtics fell to 12-31 on the season with this loss. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270128002

You are right Sam. Sure, the Celtics are playing without Pierce and Szczerbiak…but that’s no excuse to not even have a chance to win games at least…at home. It might be Doc Rivers that takes the fall for this just like what happened to Fratello in Memphis.
