Al Jefferson dominating as of late

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Steppin Up by alleyoop on Sunday 11 March 2007 at 7:42 pm

Al Jefferson has really been dominant in his last six games. In those games, Jefferson averaged 24.2 points, 14.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.3 blocks per game. He’s made 56.3% of his field goals but only 63% of his free throws during those 6 games. The paint has really opened up for Jefferson since Paul Pierce has returned and don’t look for that to change any time soon.

Wally Szczerbiak has season ending surgery to his ankle

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Injuries by alleyoop on Monday 5 March 2007 at 12:40 am

Wally Szczerbiak had season ending ankle surgery last Thursday. The Celtics will miss his long range shooting ability, but that’s Wally’s only real skill on the basketball court. He played in 32 games and he averaged 28.1 minutes, 15.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. Look for Szczerbiak to help the Celtics out next season if he’s still with the Celtics.
