The Boston Celtics have a couple of young players who are stepping up

The Celtics have had to throw their young players to the wolves and play them because of all the injuries the team has suffered. Rajon Rondo has started 6 games the last two weeks and he’s averaged 9.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 steals per game. Rondo is a bundle of energy at both ends of the floor, but he needs to improve his offensive game a little bit. Center Kendrick Perkins has also played pretty well the last two weeks. He’s played in 6 games and he has averaged 7.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 blocks per game. Like Rondo, Perkins is better at the defensive end of the basketball court.
