The 2006-2007 Boston Celtics by the numbers
The Boston Celtics are glad this season is finally over. The Celtics were decimated by injuries this season but they did get to give their young players big playing time and some of them showed big-time promise for the future. The Celtics finished in last place in the Atlantic Division with a 24-58 record, 23 games behind the Toronto Raptors. The Celtics were equally pathetic at home 12-29 and on the road 12-29! The Celtics were and awful 16-36 against the Eastern Conference, but they were a solid 7-9 against the Division. The Celtics wound up averaging 95.8 points per game and they allowed 99.2. They limped towards the finish line winning only 2 of their last 10 games which guaranteed them the second most lottery balls in the Greg Oden, Kevin Durant Sweepstakes.
