The Celtics are not that far from being a decent team, but they will need health and luck in the lottery in June. The Celtics are a horrible 23-53 on the season. They are equally pathetic at home (12-26) and on the road (11-27) and have only won 3 of their last 10 games.Â
Michael Olowokandi will miss the remainder of the season after fracturing his foot in practice. He didn’t play much this season and won’t be much of a loss to the Celtics the rest of the way. He played in 24 games for the Celtics this season and he averaged 9.7 minutes, 1.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. The Celtics should be more concerned with letting the kids play anyway so that they know who to keep and who to let go as they continue rebuilding the team.
