The Celtics have signed Esteban Batista to a 1-year contract. The 6’10″, 268 pound forward/center could get a lot more playing time than most think at center. He has played in 70 games (3 starts) in his 2-year NBA career and he has averaged 8.2 minutes, 1.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. He needs to work on his shooting as he has only hit 43.8% of his shots from the floor and 61.7% of his shots from the free throw line.
