Everyone knew that Garnett was good but he’s easily the best player on the Celtics and that’s really saying something! Garnett has played in 13 games this season for the Celtics and he’s averaging 38.2 minutes, 20.8 points, 12.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. The fact that Garnett is so unselfish will help the Celtics big time because it will allow Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to get their points.

The Celtics toyed with the Nets all night long on Wednesday. They did it with defense as they held the Nets to a putrid 33.3% shooting from the floor. Kevin Garnett led the way for the Celtics with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Paul Pierce pitched in with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Ray Allen (14 points), Tony Allen (13 points), Rajon Rondo (13 points) and Kendrick Perkins (10 points) all pitched in on the offensve end of the court. The Celtics are now 7-0 on the season.

The Celtics played great defense as the Pacers only shot 34.9% from the floor in this game and that was a big key in a easy win. Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Ray Allen only shot 6 for 18 from the floor but he still finished with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Kevin Garnett filled up the boxscore with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. The Celtics are now 6-0 on the season.

The Celtics outrebounded the Nets 59-43 and they outran them too on the way to victory. Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 28 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Ray Allen also had an outstanding game with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Kevin Garnett stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. The Celtics are now 5-0 on the season.

The Celtics really took it to the young Hawks in this game. They shot 61.2% from the floor and outrebounded the Hawks 39-29 which were two big reasons for the beat down. Kevin Garnett led the way for the Celtics with 27 points, 19 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocked shots. Paul Pierce was also busy with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Eddie House was outstanding off of the bench with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists in only 26 minutes on the court. The Celtics are now 4-0 on the season.

The Celtics were awesome in the first half as they outscored the Nuggets 77-38 and they cruised in the 2nd half to a very easy victory. The Celtics shot 64.5% from the floor and they also outrebounded the Nuggets 38-27 and those were two big keys to the very easy victory last night. Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Kevin Garnett also was unstoppable with 23 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Ray Allen pitched in with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. The Celtics are now 3-0 on the season.

The Celtics played great defense in this game as they held the Raptors to 36.7% shooting from the floor but the game still came down to Ray Allen hitting a 3-pointer with less than three seconds left in overtime to prevail. Ray Allen hit all four of his three point shots in this game and he finished with a team leading 33 points and 4 rebounds. Kevin Garnett had another monster game with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Paul Pierce had a rough game as he was only 4 of 17 from the floor and he finished up with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The Celtics improved to 2-0 on the season with this nice road win.

The Boston Celtics lived up to their advanced billing as they destroyed the Wizards on opening night. The Celtics rushed out to a 58-36 halftime lead and they never looked back. The Celtics also played outstanding defense as they held the Wizards to 35% shooting from the floor and they were 0 for 16 on three pointers. Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Kevin Garnett was outstanding in his Celtics debut. He put up 22 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots! Ray Allen also had a solid first game with the Celts with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Rajon Rondo did a good job running the point as he finished with 15 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals. The Celtics are now 1-0 on the season.
