Boston Celtics 98, Toronto Raptors 95 in OT
The Celtics played great defense in this game as they held the Raptors to 36.7% shooting from the floor but the game still came down to Ray Allen hitting a 3-pointer with less than three seconds left in overtime to prevail. Ray Allen hit all four of his three point shots in this game and he finished with a team leading 33 points and 4 rebounds. Kevin Garnett had another monster game with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Paul Pierce had a rough game as he was only 4 of 17 from the floor and he finished up with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The Celtics improved to 2-0 on the season with this nice road win.
Garnett is the early season MVP no doubt.
I am very excited with this new look Celtic team, I think they definitely could win it all this year, Rajon Rondo will be the determining factor on how they do this season. Good defense by the Boston Celtics drama boys, if only we could patch up the difference, this will be a Boston good season. They are running, switching in defense, rebounding see those efforts. We don’t have yet the Celtics team down.
