The Boston Celtics were smart not to trade Tony Allen

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,Steppin Up by alleyoop on Saturday 5 January 2008 at 1:15 pm

The Boston Celtics were smart not to trade guard Tony Allen in the Kevin Garnett trade. He was just starting to come into his own last season before he tore his ACL and he just now seems to be getting back to normal. If Allen gets back to his level of play last season he will be an assassin off of the bench for the Celtics the rest of the season. He has played in 28 games for the Celtics so far this season and he is averaging 16.5 minutes, 5.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
