The Boston Celtics don’t give much playing time to their rookies

Glen “Big Baby” Davis and Gabe Pruitt don’t get much of a chance to show what they can do. Davis has played in 46 games so far this season and he is averaging 13.0 minutes, 4.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. He is a decent shooter inside as he has made 52.3% of his shots from the floor. He does need to improve at the free throw line as he has only made 69.7% from the charity stripe. Davis needs to get in better shape if he ever wants to get more minutes than he is getting right now. Pruitt has played in only 12 games this season and he is averaging 5.6 minutes, 2.0 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He has not shot the ball too well (37.9%) but it’s hard to get into a rhythm when you don’t get to play much.
