The Boston Celtics have signed 38-year old power forward P.J. Brown to a contract for the remainder of the season. Brown played in 72 games (29 starts) last season for the Bulls and he averaged 20.2 minutes, 6.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He only shot 40.7% from the floor but he nailed 78.7% of his free throws. Brown has now played in 1,071 games (990 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 31.4 minutes, 9.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 block per game. This was a good signing for the Celtics as P.J. Brown will be able to provide defense and rebounding off the bench.
