Leon Powe had made the most of his increased playing time as of late. Powe has played in 6 games (0 starts) for the Celtics the last two weeks and he has averaged 22.3 minutes, 11.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He also is shooting 58.5% from the floor in his last six games. This shouldn’t surprise anyone as Powe played well last season in his limited minutes on the court.

With Kevin Garnett out the Celtics needed someone to step up and Rondo has been that guy. In the last two weeks, Rondo has started 6 games and he is averaging 31.2 minutes, 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game. He also is shooting the ball really well as he’s hitting 54.2% from the floor and 81.5% from the free throw line. If Rondo keeps playing well the Celtics will be hard to stop. His defense fuels the fast break for the Celtics.
