The Celtics surged in the 4th quarter outscoring the Pistons 29-13 on the way to the NBA Finals. Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Ray Allen had another solid game with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Kevin Garnett didn’t have his best game but he still finished with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The Celtics win the series with the Pistons and advance to the NBA Finals to face the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Celtics worked hard in this game as they out-rebounded the Pistons 42-25 and they also shot 50.7% from the floor. Kevin Garnett led the way for the Celtics with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Ray Allen had one of his best games of the season finishing with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Kendrick Perkins was a beast in the paint with 18 points, 16 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Paul Pierce also had a decent game with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The Celtics were up 3-2 in this series after this win.

Detroit Pistons 94, Boston Celtics 75

The Celtics didn’t have a chance in this game as they only shot 31.8% from the floor while the Pistons shot 51.4%. Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 16 points and 8 rebounds despite only shooting 3 of 14 from the floor. Kevin Garnett had a decent all around game as he finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots. Ray Allen was only 2 of 8 from the floor as he finished this game with 11 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. The Celtics were all tied up at 2-2 after this loss.
