Rasheed Wallace signs with the Boston Celtics
According to multiple sources the Celtics have signed 34-year old power forward Rasheed Wallace to a 2-year deal. Wallace played in 66 games (63 starts) for the Pistons last season and he averaged 32.2 minutes, 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game. He has now played in 1,009 games (943 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 33.9 minutes, 15.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.3 blocked shots per game. This was a outstanding move for the Celtics who will probably start Wallace at power forward. This move improves the Celtics’ already solid defense.
