Nate Robinson was solid off the bench with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in only 20 minutes off the bench. The Celtics are now 38-21 on the year.

The Celtics outscored the Pistons 33-25 in the 4th quarter which helped them overcome the fact that they were outrebounded 46-34. Ray Allen led the way for the Celtics last night with 18 points and 2 rebounds. Rajon Rondo did a good job as usual of running the offense as he finished up with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 2 steals. Kevin Garnett also had a decent game with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Nate Robinson (14 points and 2 rebounds in 15 minutes) and Glen Davis (12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 18 minutes) were both solid off the bench for the Celtics last night. Rajon Rondo missed two free throws with just seconds on the clock and then Baron Davis hit a jumper as the clock ran out to win the game. The Celtics came out flat in this game as they were losing 57-42 at the half before exploding in the second half to pull a win out. The Celtics had a rare terrible night shooting the ball hitting only 38% from the floor but it didn’t matter in the end.
