The Celtics were 50-32 last season and despite adding guys like Jermaine O’Neal & Shaquille O’Neal it would be foolish to think that some of the veteran players aren’t going to need nights off during the season for rest or injuries. I fully expect the Celtics to be a great basketball team and I expect them to win around 50 games again in 2010-11. So I would have to bet the under on the wins. The number I would be more happy with is the fact that they are 9-1 to win the NBA Championship….as that is a bet worth making.

The Boston Celtics are so deep and talented that I would have to take the over for this season. Any team that can sweet talk players like Rasheed Wallace and Marquis Daniels to sign with them for way below market value is going to win a lot of games. Doc Rivers has the Celtics on a roll lately and they are going to sneak up on “experts” who keep talking about the Cavs and the Magic. That is because K.G. is healthy and ready to rock this season. So, take the over with confidence.
